Prof. Dr. Erika Jensen-Jarolim

I am a specialist in clinical immunology with a specialization in allergology, and former president of the Austrian Society for Allergology and Immunology.

I completed my medical and immunological training at the University of Vienna, the University Hospital of Copenhagen, Denmark, and the Institute of Immunology in Bern, Switzerland. My scientific work comprises more than 300 scientific publications.

My current activities:

2019 AllergyCare - Allergy diagnosis at the Döbling Private Clinic, Vienna, which I run and founded in 2012 together with Dr. Peter Hallmann, then at Kagraner Platz.

NEW: 2025 Deputy Medical Director of the Immunology Day Clinic-ITK, 1090 Vienna.

2008 Entrepreneur in Biomedical International R+D GmbH. I am co-founder, now Managing Director, and Biomed inventor of patents against allergies that are already being implemented in practice.

Former activities:

2006-2025: University professor at the Medical University of Vienna.

2007-2011: Head of the Institute for Pathophysiology and Allergy Research, Medical University of Vienna.

2011-2025: Double professorship at the Swiss Messerli Research Institute in Vienna, which I also headed between 2019-2020

2021-2022: President of the ÖGAI - Austrian Society for Allergology & Immunology.

I am very happy to be involved as a lecturer in training events for experts and laypeople alike! This hybrid event "Allergy at the Point" took place in Vienna in November 2022.
